Okay, I guess it would help if I attached my comments to the correct posting. Serah, it sounds like you may have swallowed some dog hair.
Serah - uhoh...that stuff does it to me too. Did you remember to eat something with it (like your mommy said)? Dog hair??? Let me guess who said that..duh. Seriously, I hope you find out something soon from that MRI on your knee yesterday. You have been suffering with that for a long time! Baby Kersey needs an aunt with 2 good knees to bounce her on. Hey, I was awake at 3 am too, I should have called you!
Dad, you are soooo helpful! xD
Mom, I've been taking it at 8:30 a.m. and p.m. with food, when I can. I hadn't had any problems with it at all until this morning - I woke up thinking I was dying! I couldn't breathe for a good 10-15 seconds... I guess I may need to incorporate some acid reflux medicine while I'm taking it. And yes, we'll finally know what's wrong with me on the 15th!!! Well, you know, as far as my knee goes. Some things will just always be a mystery :)
Serah, what exactly are your problems with your knee? I have had problems with my knees, especially the left one, for years and now Shaeleigh is complaining that hers hurt. Is our family made of spare parts or what?!
Julie, how weird! On me, it's just my left knee. I fell pretty hard on it about a year ago (on two different occasions) and it's been hurting off and on since. Mainly if I walk for an extended period of time, or if I sit for an extended period of time. It's gotten increasingly more painful in recent months and with all the walking we did in New Orleans it got to the point where I had an obvious limp and pain no matter if I was standing, sitting, or lying down. The orthopedist says he thinks I've damaged my meniscus, but I'll know for sure next week when my MRI results are back.
Do you guys have flat feet? Eli and I do and he's been complaining of ankle soreness lately. Now that you mention it, he's complained of knee pain too but I honestly think he's just having sympathy pains:)
Let the Rev Dr Lathum chime in here I may have some insight. I have had left knee pain for years too!. As you know I have had 2 foot surgeries in the past few years (an experience I don't want to repeat) therefore I have had several discussions with the Drs. The biggest relief I have gotten has been from orthodics (custom made shoe inserts).
When one part of your skeleton is off like our Right Hip - it throws extra pressure on the opposite side - Left Knee. When I walk in the snow my left footprint is almost parallel to my direction of travel but my right is turned about 30 degrees outward. This is genetic ask your Mom I think she does the same thing.
The orthodics do not straighten my footprints, but it has made a difference in the way I feel when I walk... Talk to your Drs about this when you see the next.
I can bill your insurance for this medical consultation..... ha!
Hmmmm, if dad is a consulting doctor and I am a nurse, can we make money on this blog?
Serah, I'm eager to hear what your doc has to say.
My dad sounded way too smart up there.
Wow, interesting thoughts... I'll definitely let ya know what he says! My next appointment is on the 15th.
