There are no magic buttons
Laddie and anyone else who may have trouble posting, the first time we left a message on the blog it was simple, we just went to the post button. After that, we too thought we couldn't post. We finally found out that we have to "sign in" every time we want to post. As you have found out you can add a comment to someone's blog without signing in, however, in a way you are signing in because you have to use your user name and password. The sign in tab appears at the right top of the blog page. After you sign in you will see the option for "new post". Select new post and another screen appears where you post the title and message which we are all so eager to read.
You can continue posting or making comments without having to sign in again, (post button appears in the upper right on the blog page) until you close the blog or turn off your computer.
Hope this helps you post.

Very nice explanation :)
I know some people are not getting and/or clicking on the link that is sent via e-mail (from Paul) which allows you to sign in and make a post in the first place.
(That's the magic button I've been referring to!)
For some reason I was kicked off the site temporarily and had to have Dad re-invite me. Who knows why... Anyone else had that problem?
Nope, no problems here. At the very top right of the page it will either say "create post" or "sign in". All the way up in dark blue.
Thats once you're a part of the blog (the golden email).
Until we sign in, at the very top right of the page it says "create blog", "sign in". Why is your's different? Now we know who's "special".
I beg to differ - in my "short" life I have found many magic buttons. Race, age, sex, technology and I have found how to push them with some people ;).
Julie would log in but wasn't getting the create post button. It was something screwy with the Blogger site. I did everything I could to fix it but nothing worked.
Sometimes computers and websites can be very strange.
